Only during the rule of the Muthamizharignar Kalaignar, people eagerly read and enjoyed the achievements of various departments through the Information & Public Relations Department of the Government of Tamil Nadu. The task of the Information & Public Relations Department is to take all the public welfare schemes of the Government which are implemented by it, to the people through newspapers and various other media. The Information & Public Relations Department functions as an incomparable and unparalleled arm of the Government, taking its purposeful announcements to the knowledge of the people, from the times the country was announced as a Republic, and even prior to it.

Press Releases, Government Orders, press statements, welfare schemes and announcements of the Hon’ble Chief Minister are taken to the last man of the State by the Information & Public Relations Department through Newspapers and various other media, including social media, through its Information & Public Relations offices in various districts. In line with the words of Muthamizharignar Kalaignar that ‘He never likes rest’, our Hon’ble Chief Minister has ‘Hard work, hard work and hard work’ as his life and, has been working tirelessly for the welfare of the people by announcing various welfare schemes, according to his own statement, ‘I shall continue to work for you all’ and shall always be working for you all. The Information & Public Relations Department is publicizing these schemes throughout the State. The Information & Public Relations Department is functioning efficiently by taking the good deeds of the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, which he carries out through his continuous and tireless work, to the people, through its various wings.
